Mining Working Group

Over view

The Mining Working Group was formed in mid 2008 to represent Vietnam-registered mining companies with international shareholders in dialogue between the Government and the private sector regarding the development and improvement of the mining and exploration industry in Vietnam.

At present, the Government is conducting a review of the Minerals Law and has invited the Group to participate in various workshops and seminars regarding amendments to the Law. The Group hopes to share their international experience and best practices as well as provide valuable feedback on these amendments that will improve the quality, success and sustainability of the mining industry in Vietnam.
